Affiliate Terms

The short version. Share your link honestly, disclose every post, don't promise anything we don't offer, and don't buy through your own link. You earn 30% of eligible payments made within 30 days of a click, paid monthly once you pass $50.

1. The program

The Expenshit Affiliate Program is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [ADDRESS] ("we", "us"). By applying, you agree to these Affiliate Terms and to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and able to receive payments in your country. We approve or reject applications at our sole discretion. We may close the program or your participation at any time.

3. Your link and attribution

You receive a personal referral link. A sale is attributed to you if the buyer clicked your link within the 30 days before paying and did not click another affiliate's link after yours (last click wins). Attribution relies on cookies; purchases where cookies are blocked or cleared may not be attributed.

4. Commission

You earn 30% of the amount paid by the buyer, excluding taxes, payment reversals and fees charged back to us. Every successful payment made within the attribution window earns commission. We may change the commission rate for future sales with 14 days' notice.

5. When commission doesn't apply

No commission is earned on: your own purchases, including purchases by people in your household or made with your payment methods; refunded or disputed payments; payments we reasonably believe are fraudulent; sales obtained in breach of these terms.

6. Confirmation and payout

Commissions become approved 30 days after the sale if the payment has not been refunded or disputed. Approved commissions are paid monthly via Wise, PayPal or bank transfer once your balance reaches $50. Smaller balances roll over. If a paid commission is later refunded or disputed, we deduct it from future payouts. You are responsible for any taxes on your earnings, and you agree to provide the tax information we reasonably request.

7. How you may promote

You must:

• clearly disclose your relationship with us in every post, using #ad, #affiliate or a platform's paid-partnership label, as required by law (including FTC and EU rules);
• describe the product accurately: a digital object that is identical at any price, with a public leaderboard.

You must not:

• claim or suggest the product has investment, resale or monetary value, awards prizes, or will increase in value;
• make claims about romantic, sexual or social outcomes of buying;
• target or address anyone under 18;
• use spam, unsolicited messages, fake reviews, fake accounts or bots;
• bid on "Expenshit" or similar terms in search ads, or run paid ads using our name, without our written permission;
• impersonate us or suggest you are our employee;
• build any multi-level structure: you may not pay or recruit sub-affiliates.

8. Brand use

You may use the Expenshit name and object image only to promote the program and only as provided by us. You may not modify our logo or create sites or accounts that could be confused with ours.

9. Termination

Either side may end participation at any time. If you breach these terms, we may suspend your link, withhold unpaid commissions related to the breach and close your account. Otherwise, approved commissions earned before termination are paid in the next payout cycle.

10. Liability

We provide the program as is. We are not liable for lost earnings due to tracking failures, downtime or program changes. Our total liability to you is limited to the commissions owed to you.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect.
